Safari Land Holster Glock 19 - I had experience with Safariland holsters before joining the military. I ran my Glock 22 in a 6280 light matching stock with a belt clip. It was a good holster and the gun was held in place by a bolt. My main complaint with this mount was that it failed to stop the gun and weapon light. Ultimately, I'll have to buy another Kydex holster if I want to practice without using the gun's light. I hate the lack of modularity.
This problem was solved when I got a Safariland 6378 holster fitted for a Glock 19 and a Streamlight HL and mounted on an RTI GCODE mounting bracket. The button body is the same as my 6280, but it offers mounting options that my previous model did not. The 6378 will stop the Glock 19 with and without its weapon light installed on the weapon.

RTI GCODE mounting system also offers the user the ability to change weapons without breaking your set of weapons every time you want to run a different level. The fold down holster also works for me as it fits my arm length and can maintain a clear view when wearing the armor.

One advanced part of 6378 that I like is the editing method. Unlike my previous Safariland which required the hood suspension to be lowered and forward, the suspension on the 6378 requires a thumb drive to bring it down. In my opinion, this maintains a more normal hand position after using the release mechanism.
